Minutes of August 24, 1831
Second coming, gathering, sacrifice. Wiilliam E. McLellin ordained.

Date   August 24, 1831   FWM, 6–7.
Location   Minutes of a Conference held in Kaw [Township], Jackson County, Missouri. August 2 <September> 1831.   The August 2 date in incorrect. Hyrum and David were in Chariton, on their way to Independence, on the 13th. ¶ Reynolds Cahoon

William McLellin was ordained at a meeting on August 24. ¶ William E. McLellin

John Corrill
  David, Hyrum, and Harvey were three of the four elders Joseph met on August 13 and for whom he received D&C 62. The fourth was John Murdock who was no doubt too ill to attend. ¶ John Murdock

Tithes   Edward comments on Malachi 3.   Tithes and offerings.
Second coming   Harvey Whitlock comments on the second coming.    
  Hyrum exhorts on gathering to Zion, reads part of Psalm 102.   Probably verses 13–28.
Righteousness, sacrifice  

John Corrill and David Whitmer exhort all to acts of righteousness and sacrifice for Christ.

   
Prayer   Isaac Morley exhorts to prayer for Joseph and Sidney, Edward, and himself.    
Selah J. Griffin   Edward moves Selah J. Griffin remain a while when he arrives if the Spirit so directs him. All agree.    
William E. McLellin   William E. McLellin is "admitted to be ordained an elder by the voice of the Conference."   William was ordained by Hyrum and Edward.
