Reynolds Cahoon to Zion? Reynolds says he wants to know if it is the will of the Lord for him to go to Zion in the spring.
Oliver reads revelations Oliver reads "Commandments concerning the duties of the Elders."

Voted that it is the mind of the conference that our br. Reynolds is not yet commanded to go to Zion in the spring by any thing yet written; Therefore, Voted that our br. Reynolds be not sent up to Zion in the coming spring.

Reynolds wrote in his journal that the decision is "not at liberty to go to the land of Zion yet."
Thomas Marsh mission A commandment to Thomas B. Marsh (h) is read. D&C 31, given in late Sept. 1830, urges Thomas to go on his mission and not worry about his family.
Sidney ordains Harvey D. Redfield a priest.
