Minutes of February 13, 1833
Burr Riggs, a member of the Kirtland high council, is charged with not magnifying his calling and treating counsel with contempt. He agrees to make satisfaction.

Burr Riggs charged Burr Riggs is charged with "not magnifying his calling as a High Priest in the Church of Christ … neglect of duty and abusing the Elders and treating their admonition and advice with contempt." Burr is cut off ten days later. Minutes of February 26, 1833.
Burr agrees to make satisfaction After discussion, Burr agrees to "make satisfaction but did not show much humility."
