Description The High Council met in the Lord Hause this day at 4 of the O.Clock. P.M.

William Huntington high priest
  Ordain Oliver Granger a high counselor "in the Church of the latterday Day [sic] Saints. and also Ordained Brother Wm. Huntington to the office of High-Priest."  
Council substitutes approved   Council accepts John Badger as substitute for Lyman Sherman "in his absence the comeing winter" and Thomas Burdick for Phinehas Richards "during his abse<nce>"  
Phinehas to write communication re: Zion   The Council then agreed that the Clerk should prepare for the press a communication seting forth the determination of the High Council to work to the line in all buisness relative to Zion.  
    Next meeting Wednesday at William Marks' "at early candle lighting."
