Minutes of May 13, 1838
Sidney Rigdon to edit letters to the Elders' Journal, set aside 80 acres each for Joseph and Sidney §; recommend church funds be consecrated to the poor; committee to discuss printing office wages and salaries with Joseph and Sidney; Bishop Partridge to pay whatever sum is agreed upon §.

Table charges   Charges against John L. Butler, James Emmett, and James Hendrix preferred by Samuel Kimball put over until the last Thursday in June.   Minutes of June 28, 1838
Thursday councils   Council to meet on the last Thursday of each month beginning on the last Thursday of June.    
Sidney edit Elders Journal letters   Sidney Rigdon to edit the "Orthography and Prosody" of letters to the editor for the Elders Journal.    
Sidney and Joseph 80 acres each   Authorize the bishop to "set apart eighty acres of land for the benefit of Sidney Rigdon and also, 80 acres for Joseph Smith jr."   These parcels were outside the original city plot.
Church consecrate property   That the High Council use their influence to have the Church consecrate their properties for the benefit of the poor.    
Pay for Joseph, Sidney   Appoint Elias Higbee, Simeon Carter, and George W. Harris as a committee to meet with Joseph and Sidney about their wages for their in printing office wages "& their saleries for the coming year."    
Bishop to pay First Presidency   That the Committee be authorized to instruct the Bishop to pay the First Presidency, Joseph Smith, & Sidney Rigdon, whatever sum they agree with them for.
 

Ebenezer Robinson later reports annual salaries of $1,100 were granted but quickly rescinded. ¶ Joseph's Finances: 1838
