Preface to Lord's commandments. Sends disciples out to warn the world to repent §. He comes soon and will destroy the wicked §. Lord called Joseph, gave him commandments §, so everlasting covenant § could be established, gave power to translate Book of Mormon §. Only true and living church §. Disciples speak for the Lord. Wars coming soon when the devil will have power over his dominion. The Lord will dwell with the righteous and come down in judgment on the wicked §. Study the book. It is true, won't fail §. Voice of the Lord or his servants—it is the same §.
Received during the break between sessions on the first day of conference convened to discuss the publication of the Book of Commandments.
